2D Animation in 3D with Blender

Good news for 2D animation artists. Blender, the open source 3D modeling and animation program has a new feature called Grease Pencil which allows you to create 2D animation in 3D space. Your sketches can be converted into editable geometry which can be used in the animation process. You can also create layers with depth.

You have got to check this out! Thanks for the info Mike.
